MenuMate: POS for Small Restaurants & Pop-ups
A lightweight POS built for small restaurants and pop-up stores. The tool I wished existed as an operator.

The problem
Most restaurant POS systems are built for chains: heavy, expensive, and packed with features a small shop or pop-up will never use. Small operators end up either overpaying for enterprise software or duct-taping spreadsheets and cash drawers together.
The solution
MenuMate is a lightweight POS designed specifically for small-scale restaurants and pop-up stores. Clean bilingual UI, a fast order screen, a kitchen display board, table management with a visual floor plan, and a daily report dashboard. Everything a small team needs on day one, nothing they don't.
- Point of Sales: quick menu grid, cart, dine-in / takeaway, table, coupon and service charge in one flow.
- Kitchen Display (KDS): new / in-progress / ready columns with a 10-/20-minute aging indicator so nothing gets forgotten.
- Table Management: drag-and-drop floor plan with zones and live status (free / occupied / reserved / cleaning).
- Reports: daily sales, orders, customers, net profit, sales trend and favorite products at a glance.
Who it's for
Small restaurants, cafés, and pop-up stores that want a POS they can set up themselves in an afternoon. No enterprise sales call required.
Still actively developing. Building this as a side project to scratch my own itch.
